Umatter® Suicide Prevention Awareness and Skills Training - Participants build essential suicide prevention knowledge and practical skills, including myths and attitudes, risk and protective factors, warning signs, and the use of sensitive, supportive language. The training introduces a clear three-step approach for responding to suicide risk, with opportunities for behavioral practice and guidance on applying best practices within organizations and communities.

Umatter® for Schools - Designed for school staff, volunteers, parents, and community members, this course explores how alcohol, tobacco, and other substances affect student learning and well-being. Participants learn about common substances, risk and protective factors, warning signs, early intervention, and effective strategies for recognizing and supporting youth at risk, emphasizing the vital role schools play in prevention.

Umatter® Training of Trainers This training equips school professionals with the knowledge and facilitation skills needed to support suicide prevention efforts with youth. Through interactive lectures, videos, and applied exercises, participants explore effective strategies, protocols, and outcomes specific to school environments, strengthening their confidence to train and support others.

Umatter® Suicide Risk Factors for Older Men - In this training, learners will focus on specific risk factors, warning signs, and cultural norms for men 60 years and older. We will focus on practical skills for identification, intervention, and connection to resources, while also emphasizing social connectedness and building resilience.

Umatter® Suicide Risk Factors for LGBTQ+ Youth - This course provides current knowledge about effective strategies for working with youth and young adults identifying as LGBTQ+ to reduce the risk of suicide. The training is aimed at health care providers, mental health providers, and those working in social services and schools.
