At VAMHAR, we believe that learning is a collective journey — one rooted in community, shared knowledge, and the transformative power of lived experience. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce a new chapter for our learning platform.
Formerly known as Recovery University, our learning management system will now be called the
Collective Learning Institute of Vermont
If you have utilized Recovery University in the past, please use this new url and sign in with your previous username and password. All of your learning progress will have been saved and will be easily accessible.
Why the change?
As our organization continues to grow and evolve, we want our learning environment to reflect not just where we’ve been — but where we’re going. The new name better reflects our commitment to collaboration, to honoring the diverse voices in mental health and addiction recovery, and to building a comprehensive, holistic continuum of care.
What is the Collective Learning Institute of VT?
It’s more than a learning platform — it’s a space for:
Connection – bringing together peers, providers, advocates, and learners across Vermont and beyond.
Learning – offering content that is grounded in lived experience, shared values, and the latest in trauma-responsive and equitable practices.
Growth – empowering individuals and communities to transform systems through knowledge, compassion, and collaboration.
We’re also excited to open our virtual doors to collaborators — organizations, trainers, and community leaders who want to utilize this platform to host content, offer trainings, and co-create a more accessible, streamlined, and collective learning experience across sectors.
We are not just building a curriculum — we are cultivating a movement. TOGETHER!
Our goal is to make this platform a catalyst for change — one that uplifts underrepresented voices, encourages dialogue, and expands equitable access to learning for everyone in our recovery and mental health communities.
